When I pick up a dropped item, it goes into my boots slot.

When I drop an item with Q or I pick up an item that has been on the ground, it puts it in my 'boots slot' and deletes my existing boots. I saw this happening both on a Mac and a Windows computer. This bug only occurs in the latest snapshot (13w06a) and only with items, not blocks.
