Beds unusable in Single Player

I expected to jump out of the bed after the allotted time and find the time set to day.

What actually happened is that I sat in the bed with no change. I worked around it by opening to LAN and then sleeping, and I was able to accomplish this.

1. Sleep in a bed in single player
2. Stay in the bed and wait
3. Nothing happens
