Villagers Disapper in Easy Mode

Villagers will disappear when changing between playing modes in survival. I will start in easy, no mobs, go to regular with mobs, convert zombie villagers and have them reproduce. I change back to easy mode where there are no zombies and the villagers will disappear. I have verified this with two other online players in my game.
