Mine craft 1.7 versions crash

What I expected to happen was...:
I could play on 1.7.9 or 1.7.10

What actually happened was...:
The mine craft file crashes when I try to join either single player or multiplayer

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select 1.7 version 1.7.9 or 1.7.10
2. Press play
3. Click on either single player or multiplayer
4. Join world or compatible 1.7 sever
5.Crash happens
