Elytra only move in glide and sneak mode

When you move with elytra on, they follow you, but when walking (normally) or sprinting, your shoes/feet go through the elytra.
REPRODUCTION:
Put elytra on.
Walk normally or sprint.
Hit F5 once, so you should be able to see this glitch.
