Milking cows duplicates bucket

I was milking my cows to bake a cake from my cow farm. They're basically bouncing all over each other. I right clicked quickly, and it gave me 1 extra bucket. I had 3. When I went back to take a screenshot, the extra bucket was missing from my inventory.
