All of my potions have dissappeared or turned into water bottles.

I am playing on a singleplayer survival world and found that all of my splash potions are gone and all non-splash potions have turned into water bottles.
I have not had anyone on this map so I know no one is pranking me. I have switched to the latest snapshot but I then switched back and they were still there.
