Minecraft will not load worlds

I am able to successfully load up Minecraft and bring up my worlds and what not, but when I go to physically load up the worlds, I'm only in the world for about 5 seconds before the game crashes. It started doing this around the 15w42a snapshot and then preceded to do this with all the 1.9 snapshots, but I can load up my worlds with 1.8.8.
