Lead disappears off animal when I try to put it on a fence.

What I expected to happen was...:
When I right clicked with the lead that my sheep was on it would tie it to the fence.

What actually happened was...:
The Lead disappeared and the sheep was able to roam free

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Spawn in any type of mob that can be leaded.
2. Get a lead and grab hold of the mob with it.
3. Place a fence and right click the lead on it.
