end exit portal + pillar + ender dragon = 15w44a crash

If you build a obsidian pillar starting from the top of the bedrock pillar in the middle of the end exit portal all the way to the sky limit the ender dragon will try to land on top of the pillar and end up above the sky limit which crashes the game.
