Crashing Problem

What I expected to happen was...:
I would join my friends server and it would function normally.

What actually happened was...:
My minecraft crashed but for some reason my friend can join fine.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I open minecraft multiplayer
2. Click to join server
3. Idk why but it crashes instantly
