Grass texture going through hoppers

I just found that grass textures affect hoppers (goes trough hoppers) in 1.7.10 (it does not let me use 1.7.10 so i will just use 1.8.8). I just was in my modded world and i was playing, doing some stuff and other things like redstone... and i found it.
