Error on Server

When I join my server, I can play for about five seconds before it disconnects me with this error:

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 0/72 (ia) was larger than I expected, found 18 bytes extra whilst reading packet 72
