Unable to connect to server with 15w43a

While attempting to connect to my server with latest snapshot I am met with an error: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 0/72 (ia) was larger than I expected, found 19 bytes extra whilst reading packet 72.

I am able to connect to 15w42a no problem.
