Skeleton (and more hostile mobs)is still at peaceful

I was wandering the world in creative and peaceful to collect all the mob's stuff(i killed all of them in a battle) and found there is a skeleton still standing...

Not sure though, I tried to kill him, but it's no use. I used a sword and it worked, strangely...
