stat.breakItem.minecraft.shield does not exist

Like the title says, I noticed that stat.breakItem.minecraft.shield does not exist.
I tried to make an objective with this as the criteria and it failed. Using tab to auto-complete confirmed that I didn't make a spelling mistake.
