Can't exit boat

I can't seem to be able to get out of boats whilst riding them in the newest snapshot. I cannot break the boat, right click or shift to get out. Unless I'm doing this wrong, it may be a bug worth fixing imminently. It is worth nothing that the boat had picked up a squid as a passenger.
