Elytra position doesn't update when sneaking

Elytra position does not update when the player starts sneaking/crouching.

To reproduce:
Put on an elytra.
Press F5 to enter Third person mode.
Sneak.

Position does update when the player with the elytra is an other player in Multiplayer
