Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers.

I can not login to minecraft anymore as everytime i type in my login details and press log in it says:
"Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers.
Please make sure that you are online and that minecraft is not blocked.
(SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out)"

I have disabled firefox and my anti virus protection, i have uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft multiple times and i have downloaded the newest java version possible.

I am now out of suggestions and i could do with some help.
