Ugly Iron bar graphical issue

It appears the new rendering for the iron bars create an ugly line in the texture:
I really hope this is NOT WAI.
IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIDE OF AN IRON BAR THERE IS NO SIDE TO THE BAR EITHER.
