Certain characters crash the game when used in a server IP

The invisible characters mentioned in MC-49755 crash the game when you use them in the "Direct Connect" screen.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go the "Direct Connect" screen
2. Enter one of the following characters as the IP:



(There are probably more of them, but these 3 can be easily created on a Mac)
3. The game will crash
