Disappearing Area!

So, i leave my world for a bit. I had a few houses with a big 'hotel'. So i leave and watch a movie, and when i come back, i think its a chunk, that didnt load, and my stuff got deleted! Plz help me with this.
The stuff was deleted by a 16x16 area.
