i have got memory for the game but doesnt work

what is going on is whenever i log in to minecrfat then press play its just crashes and says i dont have enough memory when clearly i do and i look at some videos on youtube to help but there is this one thing i dont have on the minecraft website its like in the linux and there is a code in one of the sentence so i cant fix it
can you help me please
