Daylight sensors are broken

Daylight sensors are broken. I Changed its so it turned blue and it should have lit up at night
It lit up in the day and at night
Steps to Reproduce:
1.place daylight sensor down make it blue
2. ...connect a piece of redstone to it.
3. ...the redstone will light up
4. ... Change it to night the redstone will light up
