I open up the launcher and hit play and then it gets to the big mojang logo then it stays there for about 3 seconds and then crashes can you please help me?

Describe what you thought should happen here: I thought I was just going to play Minecraft like any other day

What actually happened was...:
Describe what happened here It: It just crashed after 3 seconds of being on the mojang logo

Steps to Reproduce:
1. you open up the launcher
2. Hit play
3. and then wait till the mojang logo pops up then it crashes
