Shift-Clicking on full inventory deletes items

When i have the inventory full, and i shift-click on the armor to take it off or items on my hotbar to move them (only with shift-click i think). they DELETE. happens in survival, with no op too, lost many items with a friend, the stuff its not dropped, just dissapears.
