Upon deaths dropped items are invisible but can be picked

I've played survival minecraft and got killed by skeleton, upon returning to my place of death the items weren't visible, but when I got over there they appeared in my inventory but not on the ground

How to recreate: Start a creative world, get some items and walk a few blocks from spawn point and do /kill, your items will be invisible but if you got to your exact place of death they'll appear in your inventory.
