Command block/comparator doesn't work with clocks

When I was playing 13w04a, I set up a command block with the command "testfor @p[r=1]" connected to a clock and a comparator that triggered a dipenser repeatedly when standing over it the command block. When I updated to 13w05a, this ceased to work.
