Quartz Stairs Turned into plants or dissapeared

I logged out and in a world with quartz stairs, they turned into either carrot or potato plants. I broke the plant and replaced the quarts stairs, logged out, logged back in, and they had dissapeared. EDIT: I just saw another one. This is a duplicate of https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-88191 .
