Server List Cleared After Server Lost Connection

My friend owns a server, and his internet died and it kicked me from the server. When I returned to the server select page, all of my servers were gone. I had about 20 there. I restarted Minecraft to make sure it was not just a visual glitch, but they were still all missing.
