Vanishing Blocks

Random blocks in my world disappear. If I attempt to place a block where they were it will make the block visible again and take the block I attempted to place in its spot, into my inventory. If I attempt to move to where the block is in the world it will glitch like I am stuck in a block. Obviously a graphical glitch.
