Minecraft Realms Difficulty and Hunger Bug

When using /difficulty I have problems were the difficultys change from time to time, like, it wont stay on difficulty 2, and switch to peaceful. Also I find that sometimes my hunger regenerates like im in peaceful, until I relog. This is for realms 1.8.8. Thanks!
