Easy, Fast duplication glitch

To reproduce this bug, drop an item (any) on the ground and spam ESC.
IF the item goes into your inventory within .3 seconds of pausing, quit the game and go back on. If done correctly there will be 2x OR VERY RARELY 3x more. This has been in the game since 1.8
