Spawning baby mobs with eggs

Players can't spawn baby mobs anymore

Describe what you thought should happen here
In all minecraft versions players can spawn baby mobs by right clicking with spawn egg on them but apparently it doesn't work

Describe what happened here
Nothing, when player right click with spawn egg on mob nothing happens

1. Spawn an mob with spawn egg
2. Right click on mob with another spawn egg
3. Baby mob should be spawned but nothing hapens
