Minecart with command block will sometimes drop a minecart in creative

When breaking a minecart with command block, it will sometimes drop a minecart named "@", without quotations. I was in creative, which makes it stranger. It has happened twice to me. It rarely happens, and I have no idea how to increase the chances.
