Command Block Command Operation Glitch

If you have a command block set on repeat mode with a command in it, turning it to always on then hitting done makes it repeat (as expected). But if you turn it back to Needs Redstone and hit done, the command gets executed once before it registers that it needs redstone. See the screenshot.
