Frozen baby zombie in peaceful

I was making a mob grinder in my world with zombies, and of course the zombies growling got so freaking annoying and laggy that I turned the difficulty to peaceful. When I went inside the spawning area, I saw a bugged out frozen baby zombie floating there. When I punched him he took damage so I knew he was there, even though it was peaceful difficulty
