JSON in tellraw doesn't respond

Invalid JSON: Malformed JSON at line 1, column 3

Any command that requires JSON comes up with the same error message: "Invalid JSON: Malformed JSON at line 1, column 3"

This does need to be fixed as I am testing the new mechanics for mapmaking and seeing what we could do with them.
