Shield glitch(es)?

When CRAFTING a shield, it is crafted into existence with LESS THAN FULL HEALTH! (See picture 1) Also, I'm not sure if this is on PURPOSE or not... But a shield when taking ANY AMOUNT of damage changes colors from the original crafted color to pretty much any color that wool comes in (see pictures 3-7). Also (speaking of color change) when you craft a shield with white wool (haven't tried any other wools), and it takes any damage its name changes from "White Shield" to "Black Shield" (see picture 2)... Again, I have no clue whether or not this or the other color changing "glitches"... And I'm pretty sure this is intentional, but when a shield is equipped, and being used (right clicking) the player takes ZERO damage (aside from fall/fire/potion/suffocation damages). Just thought I'd help you guys out with the testing of the shields doing great thus far!
