Ugly iron bar graphical texture and texture is not a full block anymore!

It appears the new rendering for the iron bars create an ugly line in the texture:

I really hope this is NOT WAI.

IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIDE OF AN IRON BAR, IN THE SECOND PICTURE, THERE IS NO SIDE TO THE BAR EITHER.

Please note the spelling errors in the pictures are a mistake, I meant WAI, not WIA.
