Banners inside block

I have found a bug. if you dig 1 down and put a banner down there ( by clicking on the ground, which makes it 2 blocks tall ) if you put one down by placing it on the banner, it goes through a block. Video of it: http://youtu.be/WZjrS2ALKpU?hd=1
