Enderman Teleportation Issue

What I expected to happen was an enderman's natural responding Teleportation, what I figured out was that if an enderman's standing still, And the player is starting to hit him, he Teleports. But... If you continue hitting the particles where the respected enderman stood, he will take damage, and Teleport right back in the same position.
