Slime Blocks become Redstone blocks when just placed

What I expected to happen was...:
I placed a slime block expecting to be able to use it.

What actually happened was...:
It instantly became a redstone block (slime blocks placed with mcedit works)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a Slime Block
2. Watch it become a Redstone one
