the screen flashes white when looking around

I started up minecraft and used the latest version. when i started playing in my world or on a server whenever i looked around the screen would flash white. It hurts my eyes so I stopped playing. Today I figured out by going through the versions that I do not have this problem till 1.7.10.

the entire screen just flashes white when looking around which obviously shouldn't happen.
I do not have this problem in any other game just minecraft.
I dont know how other people can reproduce it. I have updated to the latest version of java. I have reinstalled the game multiple times and deleted my old worlds but nothing fixes it. My drivers are uptodate so I really dont know why it is flashing like that.

The way I reproduce it is by starting the game up in the 1.8 version or later and it will just flash when looking around.
