Trapdoor placement is awkward

Bug1:

I placed Trapdoors on the top of a block in all 4 directions and when I opened the they were all looking to the same direction.

what I thought should happen:
The trapdoors open in the directions I placed them. It would be nice for a window or something.

what happened:
instead they opened all to the same direction.

Bug2:

I placed a trapdoor at the bottom of a block, but it was flying.

what I thought should happen:
The trapdoor is placed at the buttom of the upper block.

what happened:
It was flying in the air.
