(a friends problem, not mine) The game will not let me join servers, it instead gives me an error message.

What I expected to happen was...:
I join a server....

What actually happened was...:
The game attempted to join a server, then gave me an error message.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click a server
2. error....

NOTE: this is one of the many error messages I recieve:

Internal Exception: io.netty.hander.codec.DecoderExeption: Badly compressed packet - size of 124 is below server threshold of 256
