Worlds getting stuck on "Loading World"

Whenever making a new world in 13w04a, I get stuck on the "Loading World" screen and stays like that for a massive period of time and doesn't crash at all. I've made many different worlds with different options to it and it still doesn't work. However, when I use previous version and snapshots I can load and create a world just fine.
