/clear won't delete item in offhand [15w31a]

Created a vanilla survival single player world with Cheats enabled to test out the new features in the game. I have found that /clear will not delete the items the player is holding in their off-hand; only in their normal inventory. If the offhand item is moved back to the standard inventory, /clear will successfully delete it.
