Whole hotbar slot becomes "enchanted" when the slot has an enchanted item

I was enchanting my items to go to the End in the creative world that I made in the new 15w31a snapshot. Then, I noticed that, after enchanting my items and putting them in the hotbar, the slot with the tool became "enchanted". However, this doesn't happen in the inventory open.
