Upon spawning into a newly generated world, my character slowly sinks into the ground similar to spectator mode.

Created a new survival world and as soon as I spawned I began slowly sinking through all of the blocks beneath me, I did not take any suffocation damage and stopped sinking when I reached bedrock.
